The winner of the Outdoor Section was the unanimous choice of the judges. They agreed that it is a most innovative work both in terms of concept and technique. At the same time, it deals with age-old themes such as ‘The Wheel of Fortune,’ and stylistically refers to past artistic styles such as Neo-Classicism, Art Nouveau and Art Deco as well as early Modernism.

It asks questions, but leaves the viewer to ponder answers.

It offers us all the challenge to garner our strength and resources and move forward into a future now even more composed of the unknowable.
